I use Picasa. It rocks.
I was just wondering how many people use Picasa. I don't use it myself because I don't take many pictures but I am going to get a digital camera and maybe then i will get it.
Kool. I will use it when I get my digital camera this fall. I plan on getting a Sony 5.1 megapixel digital camera. I don't think I will get the new T1 but I want that rectangular shaped one with the Carl Zeiss lens. Does anyone know what I am talking about? I will try to find a picture.
dont use it as of yet
Just like Intelliot says, it rocks for the purpose it is to be used for...but for me its useless because I never have to organize pictures or anything like that...nonetheless, its a cool service, and I have the Hello IM thingy, now THAT rocks!
What is it, an online photo album? Can you disable it from public viewing?
I use it all the time, it is officially the best photo organizing program![]()
I've been using it this last weekend, to create a web album and it did great. Faster and easier than it was doing the same thing with Dreamweaver.
I still haven't organized my pictures though (laziness and the fact that the software i installed with my digicam saves the pictures to folders labeled by date).
I love the design and they way both Picasa and Hello look like.
Just tried once... But never again...
not that I didn't like it... just have never use it again...
I had a blog... in blogger... but I got borried and never wrote on it again hehehehe
But it really rocks...
Google should modify it to be the future GIM!!!
I use picasa excellent interface and fantastic "timeline" feature
i will download it, when i have a digital camera :P
I use it and I like the feature that indexed all the pics I had on my HD. Nice software and easy to use.
Not too sure though about the photo editor, could be improved for a better control of hue, lightness and contrast...
It's my opinion...
I have to say that I like the speed in which the new version of Picasa scans for files. I've use Picasa mainly for sending pictures through "their" email system because the application will automatically size the photos before sending. The new version also has a nifty Gift CD function that allows you to easily create a photo CD. Right now, I'm having fun with their poster feature. This feature will break up a photo into sections that when printed can be pieced together to make a poster up to 1000% bigger than the original photo.
The only change I would make is to allow the user to see the directory tree of all the pictures. I have the same folder name in a different directories and it becomes confusing as to where the folder is actually located. It does allow you to locate the folder on disk, but it should provide an easier way.
I've constituted using it this last weekend, to produce a web album as well as it did big. Faster as well as easier than it was doing the same thing with Dreamweaver.
I use it almost everyday...
But, i mean but,it is now forbidden in China
Thats a sad thing
