    Picasa is the best soft for organizing photos!
    and I used some other softwares and picasa is surly the best...

    I just apply Windows explorer which provides you with thumbnails of pictures as Picassa does as well as is a lot easier to organise photos into folders as well as albums.

    I'm using HP since my printers are HP. So the software is compatible with the hardware.
