You posted this topic twice and I have deleted one of the topics. I assume this was just an accident, but I do want to remind you that it is against forum policies to post the same topic twice.

I have downloaded the Google toolbar when I was still using IE. It worked fine for me. I didn't get any popups anymore. So I don't know why you still get them.

The google tool bar is a great tool for page rank and a good pop up blocker. The pop up blocker isn't going to stop all pop ups. Like for instance media fast click is able to pop up. It does stop many of the pop ups though.. You may want to download another popup killer program that'll help stop your pop up problems.. I use adaware and I get no pop ups at all.

-I got it as well, Pop up blocker is the most sophisticated and effective that I have ever seen. If it doesn't work for some people, make sure any Spyware, Adware, Anit-Virusware, or system settings isnt preventing the Google Tool Bar from using all of its configurations. I found the Mircrosoft Anti-Spyware and the Security center disabling many Internet cookies and security software that I had recently enabled. The Google Tool Bar is great, one of the most useful features that my internet browser has.

No new features from the last one, but they've gotten rid of some bugs.

Well, this thread is very old, but yes, all you need to block pop-ups is to use FireFox. The Google Toolbar is autmoatically set into the browser, and you could even browse with other search engines if you really felt like it.

That said, it's likely that if the browser's pop-up blocker isn't blocking pop-ups like it should, then you have some sort of spyware on your computer and should immediately download, install, and run d-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5]Ad-Aware SE Personal

Normally, I would have closed a thread this old.

They just released another beta for it , why close the thread. It makes little sense to have 15 threads about the same topic.
