    Photoshop is the industry standard, but it also has the cost to go with it. I find that when using any Adobe product you have to learn the peculiar way that they like to organize their menus and options. It's not like any other software designer. There are some free, open source products you can use like the aforementioned GIMP and Paint.NET which approximate the capabilities of Photoshop a few years ago.

    And It depends on the work that you’re doing. I use both and love both, but for different reasons. Photoshop works well for dealing with photos and textures whereas Coreldraw is ideal when you are creating things, drawing, using a tablet, or just need something to “flow” better.

    Photoshop is the best and it may easy to use. I prefer photoshop and use it.
