I just recently started using Google Talk and I really like it, and since I was only using Windows Live Messenger to chat with my sisters, who live in another state, I was hoping to remove it from my system.
But my sisters, being kids, have a couple dozen Live Messenger friends that they talk with so I can't ask them to stop using Live Messenger. But is there a way I can chat with them using Google Talk and they can reply using Live Messenger? Or is that asking too much...?

With all due respect, that doesn't answer my question. They are KIDS -- they have several dozen friends that they keep in touch with via Live Messenger. I'm NOT going to ask them to install Google Talk JUST to talk to me.Originally Posted by desigac

Hi, Just invite them to gtalk. Say them its a light weight application & it has more features !
