    changes in image search.

lately i've noticed that the results page with google images has changed.
i still get a page full of images, however at the bottom of the page instead of a number of page numbers i can go to, i get 'see more images'.
when i click on this i get the same page again.

i just did an image search and i read that there were over 23 million results, however the page held about 240 images or so. again i clicked on 'see more results' but the same page appeared.
when i do click on a particular picture, on the new page i get shown a small image of it. this never used to happen.
and what are all the 'page 2' 'page 3' etc, that appear after a few rows of pictures? i thought that maybe i had to click on these to access other pages, but i guess not.

when i do an ordinary web search everything is fine, as it always has been.
why the change for google images?
perhaps its been like this for a while, as i don't use the image search all that often. maybe its google progress?

    thanks.

Hi I have just had a look at google image search and I am not finding any problems.

Though in the past depending on time of day and what my computer is doing, and what my ISP is doing .. image downloads to the screen can drag a bit. I think that its obviously a lot more resource intensive to download a whole screen of pics and somewhere along the chain things are getting bottlenecked. Hard to know who to blame though Hope your searching improves...

The best way to optimize your website images for good results is to follow the instructions given in the articles posted on Google Webmaster Central blog.

Yes some changes are there in google image searches however it doesn't means that google is not showing all the images, infect you have to load these pages to view all the results.
