hhmm demanding for help...........
well have you tried reinstalling the software incase it did not apply the settings correct.
btw forums are building blocks if you can share something then post it for everyone to read
I cannot get Google reader to load in either IE or Firefox. Chrome seems to have no problem. It won't load when I go from IGoogle gadget, or when trying to subscribe to a new feed. This has been over a month - I thought it would fix itself eventually. NOT!
And this forum format needs some help too. I see LOTS of similar problems in the old Google Group Forum. Searches here return nothing on this topic.
What's with that?
If this is already an open thread somewhere - send me to it.
Thanks.
Carl

Hmm. I'm not DEMANDING anything.
Just curious that no browser I have except Chrome seems to work with Google Reader.
AND - it is the same on the 3 machines I use - each with a different OS.
Windows 7, VISTA, and XP all have the problem with Firefox and IE.
Have not tried Chrome on the others, but it works on the windows 7 machine.
There were lots of posts about it in the old forum - and no answers.
It's a clever ploy by Google to get us to use Chrome, right?
It's not terrible - I can still read things in the iGoogle gadget with no problem. Just can't get to READER without Chrome.
OH - and when I try to sign up to another feed, the browser hangs as well - it does sign me up though - just never comes back.
And no, I do not plan to install all of them again to fix the problem. Something else is going on.
Thanks, though. Get back to work.
just from you saying that you have tested with 3 computers and 3 OS and still no go but still wondering why 2 Google products work together while their rival software is not working. Strange? lol![]()
It happened to me before..But it got fine itself and I don't know why..
works fine for me on firefox.
Try to reinstall Firefox or clear your cache. There may be some wierd settings saved on your browser.
