Please excuse me if I am posting in the wrong place I’m new to the Forum.

I have been helping a friend to reinstall Google Earth desktop icon that had mysteriously disappeared from his computer. We were able to download a patch and now everything is working.

When we look at the Google toolbar there is the #3 next to Google. Is this because of the number of times he tried to fix the problem and how can we fix it.
