maybe you are right. I am a fresher in net. And right now I am work as a SEO assistant. They said SEO is not that welcomed by searching engine, is that true? Then shall I change my job?
Hello all. I suspect I will get my answer here. I've been searching Google's job site as well as Amazon (Cloud) go figure on the types of jobs they are looking for on the network side of things. As things change I know I do too. However, I'm not an applications person.
I'm 40 and have a few years left in me... hopefully.. gulp. I'm mainly a network guy, and I have around 13 years experience. I have a CCNA, and other various certs. I'm just at a loss as to what I can do to stay relevant with the changing times as they seems to be going into warp speed now. Now I feel I do have two strong points atm which are EMC storage networking, Celerra and VMware. However, I'm wondering if I should change my OS focus to Red Hat Linux as I see a huge amount of it out there.
I could go back to school for another degree but you know as well as I do you have to be very careful in choosing degrees or you'll just end up with student loans and a pretty piece of paper. I'm just not sure wherer to focus my efforts. Maybe it's IT midlife crisis? Thanks.
