Uploading Docs?
I used google docs for the first time just the other day and I need to know if I used it properly. I'm helping this guy up north - he needed me to make an Excel sheet and send him the website. Well I didn't really know what to do so I uploaded it to google docs and sent him the link. I am supposed to hear back today but...
When I look at the google doc it's not an Excel spreadsheet - it looks similar but I'm not sure if it will work for this gig.
Question is: Will be able to download it as an Excel sheet and does anyone know how I can get a "link" to my excel for him (not by email) if this google docs idea isn't going to work?

Well I'm happy to report that I received a payment from him today. He obviously got it and is able to use it but I really would still like to know if he got it as an excel sheet. I would try emailing to myself but I know it won't work since that way. I asked him but no response yet.
From my experience, when you upload it, it converts it the Google Docs format. I've found that formulas, charts, etc. may "break" when you upload them to Google docs and may need to be fixed.
