Rubbish. You should re word your questions. The Adsense Secrets your are referring to is by Joel Comm. Do you know how to direct adsense to refer your sites content to the ads served. No I bet you don't. Thats why you probably get a variety of unrelated ads. I know sites that get over 1k hits a day and not one click. Why, because the ads are all wrong, wrong color, wrong position, wrong size etc etc. I also believe the blog you are referring to has reprinted probably not in its entirety but very close to about one million other blogs on the website.

You are right there is so much duplicate advice out there it is hard to find good advice from a reliable source.

I always used Google calculator as I do not have the Windows calculator in my OS. Too much Google flexibility.
