Double "Ctrl" can't bring up quick search

It's a very cool feature until doesn't work on my laptop (Windows Vista Enterprise 32-bit). Only "Ctrl-Ctrl" can't invoke quick search, the other methods such like "Ctrl+Alt+G", "Win+G" work well.

I disabled and enabled "Enable hotkey (Hit "Ctrl" twice to bring forward)", it's not recovered. I also uninstall and reinstall Desktop search but still can't fix it.

It happens almost autonomously, at the beginning the ctrl-ctrl doesn't work after system up (Desktop search is auto start up), but it recovers after exist program and reopen it. After reinstall, the hotkey is always not working even with previous trick.

Any body can give me some suggestions of how to further identify and debug the problem? Thanks a lot!

Sorry for disturbing. I found it was related with Comodo Defense+ installed on my laptop, still debugging but move the topic to their forum
