Chrome is fastest browser for any type of work. I personally prefer to use Firefox while talking SEO because i mostly use Firefox rather then Chrome but only for SEO.

I prefer to use Chrome and my defaults addons are "seo for chrome", "seo site tools", "save as pdf", "firebug", "web developer" etc. I did not found any problem with SEO for chrome and with just one click get the essential info of a site without disturbing the page.
