i used to have google chrome set as my main webbrowser and have been using it for a few months now, but i turned on my computer today and it said google chrome is a viruse that steals passwords. and it forced me to delete it and now i cant redownload it cause everytime i try to reinstall it my virus protection steps in and cancels the install
my virus protection is microsoft security essentials, is MSP gone bonkers? or did something happen to chrome? cause all a sudden i cant use it and iam forced to use firefox again when i'd rather be using chrome

Odd. Have you tried looking to see if your CMOS battery is showing the correct date? Often the date conflicts with browser pages.
