I have information about the Google voice but the invitation I can not send I have not that facilitie .Google Voice is a telecommunications service by Google The service provides a phone number in the United States, chosen by the user from the available numbers in area codes selected, each free user account. Incoming calls to this number are forwarded to other phone numbers of the subscriber. Outgoing calls can be placed towards domestic and international destinations by calling Google Voice or Web application.

How does Google Voice differ from Skype or Yahoo Voice? I have both and cant imagine that it is so magnanimous that I would switch over. Anyone have any comparative info ?

I have google voice and just removed my skype. Google Voice is great!!! You can call ANY other telephones for free - not just computer phones. If someone is bothering you like a telemarketer you can block them and they hear a message that says your phone is disconnected! It also does SMS messages, etc. I use it all the time now and I actually just talk to my computer - no headset or anything. It's SO much better than skype

Thanks for posting this. Just set this up on my Evo with fring/gizmo5 and works perfectly. Tried a bunch of other things before this and nothing really worked. This was pretty straight forward!

This saddens me to see that Google will raise their rates in 2012. Knowing that Google is raising the rates To call within the US and Canada when other VoIP are keeping their rate to call within those countries for free. So why not keep it that way?
