For Google Analytics, goal setting, you need to go in settings. Then in goals, specify the name/title of the goal you want to create. you have 4 sets to create goals. In 4 sets there are total 20 goals. Decide one of the three types of goals you want. You need to set URL Destination, Time on Site, or Pages/Visit and turn the goal 'On' & save the settings. For more details, go through Google Webmaster Help. That'll help you out! While, for tracking website traffic, create the account at Google analytics. 3. After finding profile.. click on "Edit" which is under the "Action" column
4. When you click on "Edit" you can see there is 5 sets of goals & each sets contains upto 4 goals to set. You can create 20 goals in google analytics.
5. Enter the goals's name which you want to track.
6. Turn the goal 'On' or 'Off.' If you choose 'On,' that means you want Google Analytics to track this conversion goal at this time. Turning it 'Off' will only make the goal inactive without deleting it.
