I have been using google analytics for a quite long time now. But, I don't get the accurate results about the website traffic. I know that analytics do have a high reputation but in my case, some of my visits are not counted.

Instead of stat counter Google Analytic is the enterprise-class web analytic solution that gives you rich insights into your website traffic and marketing effectiveness.

Google analytic provide us a great opportunity to get the latest & more accurate result. On the other hand statcounter provide us more options in on page settings.

I have to agree with you on this.
What I noticed was a huge disparity between Google Analytics and the stats you get on Control Panel of server.

I haven't used Statcounter before but I'm looking for something more comprehensive than GA as it seems a lot of users who visit the site are not recorded.

If someone can enlighten me as to why this is or maybe it's because my settings are incorrect but I'll definitely take a look at Statcounter.

    google analytics is the best

I believe from my experience that no tool is a match to google analytics . GA is the best in my opinion but it takes some time for a user to know all its features.

I prefer GA but I never used Statcounter so I don’t know if it is better. But Analytics does everything I need it to do, so…

I have to admin I did not try Statcounter. But I think google analytics is enough and also I think it is the best. So I don't want to change it any more.

I have been using Google Analytics for some time now, and I have found that it is great for running reports for yourself and clients, but if you are into keeping tabs on realtime visiting information, services like Statcounter are great. I use other stat counters on top of Google Analytics.

What really makes a winning team is when you merge your Google Adsense and Google Analytics together... really good information there.
