Number of clicks doesn't match statistics

My Google clicks show lower numbers than my 'exit link activity' from my statistics service. For example, yesterday there were 873 pages visited and my Adsense account shows 6 clicks, a CTR of 0.069. However, my statistics service, Statcounter, shows 26 exit links to Google Ads, showing which size of ad was clicked.
I think this is a regular thing, but I need to track and check.
Is there any reason for this discrepancy?
Does it matter what time of day I check my Adsense page?

To answer my own question: It depends on Google's 24 hour clock and that of my stats service (Statcounter) in Ireland. My site, ingles-gratis123.com teaches English in Spanish. As far as I can figure out, midnight on my time set in Ireland is 9pm in Google time (EST), so anything from California and west Mexico (my biggest market) coming in after 9pm shows up as next day's receipts. Does that make sense?
