    cost of adwords

Hi all I am new to adwords and I'm not sure how much it should be costing me each day. It seems that no matter how much of a payment I make my click the next day nearly always take up the whole amount. I've tried paying very small amount to very large amount but the same pattern is occuring and I am not getting any more enquiries by paying the large amount
What sort of budgets are other people paying and how long between payment before having to make new payments - are there an other ways of using adwords without having to make payments constantly i.e. to set up an account that doesnt keep running out
How do I know that someone isnt just clicking on my ads and using up my budget
    ta

You can set up google conversions to know who is buying products after clicking on your ads. Click on reports on Adwords and then click on Conversions. I have about four or five campaigns running, some on £5 a day some on £2, with minimum bids from 10p-20p. At the min I'm spending between 5 and 7 quid a day. You want to run them for a while and then analyse what response you're getting.

For ad on google you have three options to pay either set the daily budget for your ad, or pay per click or pay per impression by bidding or the cost also depends on the quality of your ad. if the quality of your ad is high you will have to bid less. otherwise the more you bid the more your ad reaches the top.

yea @adamsmith beautifully describe each and every thing. Before availing Google Adwords you must know whom audience you are going to hit.If you'll not abide by the rules you'll surely get less results as compare to others.

If you are new in adword than be careful because it is so much costly.

I have noticed that a lot of niche keywords that don't get that many searches have very high bid prices. I would avoid those at first. Focus on organic ranking, and buy AdWords in less expensive, more broad keywords. It depends on the product or service you are offering, but in my case I found that the narrow search terms did not necessarily yield more conversions as I had hoped.
