Gmail Drive programme

Hi everyone,
I am writng to inform you that I had installed the programme that called a GDrive, however, I didn't see any difference between when I paste a file in my GmailDrive, which was created after I installed that programme, and when I attach a file with a message and send it via the email. I mean:
I have read in this"Gmail Drive creates a virtual filesystem on top of your Google Gmail account and enables you to save and retrieve files stored on your Gmail account directly from inside Windows Explorer. link"

But I didn't see any a virtual filesystem on top of my Google Gmail account . why?????
Finally: As long as Gamil Drive programme only works as you send message with attaching files with it, then I can I do this by attaching the files which I want to my email and they will be uploaded on the cloud. another email to my Gmail account. ( I mean I will store my data and files in my Gmail Drive by sending them with attaching them with a message from another email).

I would greatly appreciate your help.

No I hadn't any trouble at all, however, as I said previously, I didn't find out any benefit from it, because all what does that programme is createing another drive(GmailDrive) inside your system and to send your files to your Gmail's account you should: first, log into your Gmail. Then paste your files inside the Gmail Drive . After that, the files which you pasted in the Gmaildrive send to your gmail account. What is the difference between this process and when you send your files by attaching them with message.

You can attach your files or folders which you need with a message and send them to your account instead of using the GmailDrive, I think you haven't understood my question at all. I said to you that there isn't any benefit from the GmailDrive as long as you can attach the files into your Gmail account. I hope you understand me.
