Thats could be a great problem. If you are receiving email , ask about bank statement , it could be spam email and necessarily to reply from that email. Or you may the Gmail Help Center
its not spam.... its real, and I contacted the person who's mail i'm getting. The problem is i'm getting his account number and statements and stuff. and i'm starting to get pissed about it.
already went to the help centre... did not help much i managed to find my fault listed there but there was no solution just says that any account with a . is considererd the same as one without a . , is there any way to contact them? the links that say contact us just keep going on and on without getting me a chance to mail them or contact them.
that is a big problem... i think you should ask for some help....
That is what I'm doing..... I'm asking for some information on how to ask for help....
There is no link to contact google/gmail customer service... I tried that on the help forums it just keeps going in circles. I was hoping someone here would be able to give me a link or some address to complain to.
Well if that is the case if you have given out your bank statement number and some important notes by accident the best possible way is to terminate that bank statement account immediately before some one else has it on the wrong hands. But I know that wouldn't be the best possible option because its hard to transfer bank statements immediately to a new account.
well the problem is not that my e mails are going somewhere else...
i'm getting someone elses mail...
its not just their bank statements
its everything from the communities that they sign up in to their statements and messages that are forwardd to them...
i wish they would get their act togather and at least have a customer service section to complain to.
are you sure that the other person signed their correct email and not yours by accident?
well the best thing to do first is to contact the bank and tell them to stop. or it can lead to something bad.
Yes, i get the mails saying from <sender> to <other person's name>@gmail.com and its not like its some random mail. i get his bank statements , alerts and his subscriptions.
I'm quite sick of forwarding it to him. but i'm getting bit pissed at gmail for not having corrected it after 4 months.
Have you managed to get anywhere on your problem? I also have my mail (via Outlook) going to another address. I have spent hours trying to find a contact direct to Google to no avail.
