Well, backup your files. Shut down the computer. Open the tower. Check the hdd cables. Open the computer and if the message insists then go to bios and check the hdd settings.
I have a desktop computer, everything was working fine until last night. Now for some reason whenever I turn on my PC, I get a message which says "Hard disk failure is imminent. Please back up your hard disk and have it replaced. Press <F10> for Setup, <F2> to continue." I press F2 and it boots to Windows normally and everything seems fine. I am not a very techy guy but I try to fix all my computer problems on my own or with the help of others. Can anyone tell me what to do to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance.

This could be because of wrong jumper setting in hard drive. Pull out all the cables from your hard drive and place the jumper in the master setting. See if that works!!!
